Funfairs, street markets and village festivals: how we approach it
A funfair or street market looks small scale, but stretches along a long ribbon with many elderly people and children. Our medics walk rounds across the whole site, so someone is always nearby.
Rather than one fixed post we often choose walking medics here, so they can reach anywhere within a few minutes. By rides, food stalls and gas cylinders a state-certified fire watch officer keeps watch, because that is exactly where the fire risk sits.
