Why event medics with Event Safety Service?
An event medic is not an ordinary first aider. They are trained for the particular conditions of an event: crowds, noise, alcohol, heat and an audience you cannot simply move. We train our people for that ourselves.
- Categories 1, 2 and 3 available
- Trained in our own training institute
- Experienced with large crowds
- Working to the Dutch field standard
- Recognisable in ESS uniform with backpack
- Deployable throughout the Netherlands
The right level of care in the right place
The Dutch field standard for event medical care describes which level of care belongs to which type of event. We supply medics in categories 1, 2 and 3, from basic first aid to reserved procedures and acute care. That way you can be sure the staffing on your site matches the risk profile stated in your permit.
- Category 1: basic first aid
- Category 2: extended care and equipment
- Category 3: acute and emergency care
- Always demonstrably qualified

Trained by us, so always up to date
Since 2024 we deliver our training in house. That means our medics work with the same protocols, the same equipment and the same way of reporting. We schedule refresher courses ourselves, so nobody ever stands at your event with an expired certificate.

How we work
Request and intake
You give us the date, the location, the type of event and the expected number of visitors. You hear from us within 24 hours.
Risk assessment and care plan
We determine the required deployment to the field standard and supply a care plan for your permit application.
On site
Our people are visible, equipped and ready to act the moment the gates open.
Reporting and aftercare
Afterwards you receive an overview of every incident, treatment and escalation.
